Synopsis
In Oran, six days before her sister’s wedding, Zouzou, a 30-year-old bio-marine engineer, is struggling to tell her family she’s leaving to track down the mystery of sardines disappearing from Algerian waters. Between gossip about her single status, her secretwedding preparations and therapy sessions with a “psy” hairdresser, Zouzou will she go ?

In this tale of a young Algerian girl’s emancipation from her family and social environment, filmmaker and poet Zoulikha Tahar tells the funny and tender story of Zouzou, who embarks on an expedition to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of sardines from the Oran coast.
