Synopsis
When Brussels-based Gigi discovers that his mother Anaïs is dating her ex again, with whom she shared not only love but also a drug addiction in the past, he presents her with an ultimatum: her son or her lover. When Anaïs refuses to choose, Gigi decides to leave the house. Falling back on his friends, Gigi finds his way in a merciless society.

Fucking junkie of a mom, fucking school that sucks, fucking Zola who doesn’t get it but is still so fucking cool, fucking world that doesn’t listen to how bad things really are. Fucking struggles. Putain takes us into the suddenly upturned life of Gigi, tackling the struggles of a high schooler’s precariousness with humor, absurdity, and anxiety. A powerful story about friendship and teenage grit. Fucking great actors, fucking great directing, fucking great series.
