Synopsis
Édouard doesn’t fit the popular standards of masculinity, which makes him feel inferior. Over a weekend at the cabin with his childhood friends, Renaud and Xavier, he realizes that despite their mutual affection, they no longer have a positive influence on each other, trapped in a dangerous game of masculinity.

In the same vein as the documentary Alpha on the consequences of toxic masculinity, Gabriel Savignac (Nichole) paints a vivid portrait of three childhood friends, now at the brink of adulthood, rocked by these questionnings. During a boy’s weekend, the call for adventures gives way to childish games and boisterous recountings of romantic exploits. With compassion and vigour, T-Rex evokes the persistent flaws of insidious masculinity within younger generations.
